Damauli, April 26
Construction of a state-of-the-art park in Tanahun’s Byash Municipality has gained momentum.
The multi-million rupees park being constructed by New Dragon and JV will feature a number of attractions such as a picnic spot, a swimming pool, a fish pond, a basketball court, a waiting lounge and a parking lot.
According to the contractor company’s Site In-charge Bishnu Bahadur Khadka, the park to be named as Parashar Park is expected to be completed by September and is estimated to cost over 35 million rupees. While Urban Development Building Construction Division Office, Gorkha, had tendered the bid, the project is now being overseen by UDBC Division Office, Kaski.
Byash Municipality Mayor Baikuntha Neupane expressed his confidence that the park, once completed, would be a great fillip to tourism development in the district and help promote Parashar region at home and abroad.
