BIRGUNJ: Deputy Prime Minister Ishwor Pokharel has said that the Nepal Army should complete construction of the houses to the people affected with a powerful storm in Bara and Parsa districts without making any delay. The Federal government has given the responsibility to Nepal Army for the construction of houses there.

A task would begin house construction at 12 storm affected places of Bara and Parsa districts at the same time by forming 12 groups from May 4 where 750 engineers would be deployed, he added.

Similarly, Chief of Army Staff, Purna Chandra Thapa said that a two-room house would be constructed for each family as per the cabinet decision.
