KATHMANDU: Nepal government has condemned the series of heinous terror attacks that shook Sri Lanka, and utimately rest of the world, today.
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli expressed his sadness over the incident, scores of people have lost their lives in which, and extended condolences to the people of Sri Lanka through a tweet following the attacks.
I am deeply saddened by multiple bomb blasts and killings of innocent people in Sri Lanka. I express my condolence with Rt. Hon'ble Ranil Wickramasinghe, PM of SriLanka and bereaved families of victims of brutality. I wish speedy recovery of the injured.

Likewise, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Pradeep Gyanwali, expressed condolences to the families of the victims while expressing shock over the reports of blasts in the island nation.
“Nepal unequivocally condemns terrorism in all its forms,” Minister Gyawali had tweeted.

Meanwhile, the Office of The Prime Minister has released a letter addressed to the Prime Minister of Sri Lanka in which PM Oli has extended heartfelt condolences to the people of Sri Lanka on behalf of the government and the people of Nepal.

According to incoming reports, an eighth blast followed the series of blasts that killed over 140 people. Sadly, the death toll is rising as the day passes.
