Province 3 govt provides 10 million to storm-affected

HETAUDA: Province 3 government today handed over Rs 10 million financial support for rehabilitation of windstorm-affected families in Bara and Parsa districts.

Chief Minister Dormani Paudel reached Janakpur himself and handed over the relief amount to his counterpart Lal Babu Raut on Wednesday.

Similarly, Province 3 Deputy Speaker Radhika Tamang also handed over state lawmakers three-days salary–Rs 4,69,050– to CM Raut.

Earlier, the devastating windstorm killed 28 persons, injured hundreds, damaged property worth millions and left thousands homeless.
