KATHMANDU: Soaltee Westend Premier (SWP) has been formally inaugurated by Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on April 16. Among others, Chief Minister of Province 5 Shankar Pokharel and Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Barsaman Pun were also present on the occasion, as per a media release.
Soaltee Westend Premier is the first five-star hotel in Nepalgunj and the first five-star hotel with LEED certification in Nepal. LEED, or Leadership in Energy and Environment Design, is the most widely used green building rating system in the world set up by US green Building Council (USGBC).
The hotel includes all designs, installation, equipment and process followed to give an environment-friendly true green hotel.
