POKHARA: A labourer was killed buried under a pile of mud and stones while constructing a road at Beni Municipality-5 of Myagdi on Wednesday afternoon.
The deceased has been identified as Kaluram Tharu (35) of Madhuban Municipality-2, Bardiya.
Tharu was working in the construction of Beni-Darbang road section when the pile of stones and mud fell upon him from above, burying him and killing him on the spot, informed police.
Further investigation into the incident is underway, said police.
