KATHMANDU: Indian Minister of External Affairs Subrahmanyam Jaishankar is scheduled to visit Nepal today.
In his two-day visit to the country, Jaishankar will take part in in the fifth meeting of the ministerial-level Nepal-India Joint Commission. The commission established in 1987 is alternatively held in India and Nepal.
Indian Minister Jaishankar will co-chair the meeting along with the country’s Foreign Affairs Minister, Pradeep Kumar Gyawali.
According to a press statement released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), Jaishankar is also scheduled to meet President Bidya Devi Bhandari and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.
