British citizen found dead in Solukhumbu hotel

SOLUKHUMBU: A British national was found dead in a hotel room in Khumbu Pasang Lhamu Rural Municipality-4 of Solukhumbu district on Tuesday morning.

The deceased has been identified as British citizen Kellinu Joseph (54).

Josheph was found dead on his hotel bed at Lobuche yesterday morning, according to Inspector Uttam Karki at District Police Office, Solukhumbu. He was staying in the hotel during his visit to Khumbu area.

The cause of the death has yet to be ascertained, added Inspector Karki.

Meanwhile, the body was airlifted to Kathmandu for post mortem after completing the legal procedural by the local police on the same day.
