BHOJPUR: A woman has lost her life after drowning in Piluwa Khola of Sankhuwasabha district on Sunday afternoon.
The deceased has been identified as local Asha Maya Limbu, 55, of Chainpur Municipality-1. As soon as police received information of Limbu’s death, a team of security personnel from Noondhaki Police Post went to the incident site and recovered her lifeless body.
An additional team of police from Chainpur-based Area Police Office visited the site to complete required legal procedures and sent Limbu’s body to the District Hospital for post mortem.
Meanwhile, further investigation into the case is underway, stated District Police Office, Sankhuwasabha.
