15-bed hospital comes into operation

Tulsipur, November 2

A 15-bed hospital has come into operation in Banglachuli Rural Municipality of Dang.

The hospital located at Kamirechaur started providing health service yesterday. The health facility was established as per the policy of the federal government to establish a 15-bed hospital in every local level.

Medical Officer Basant Shah initiated the service at the newly built hospital by carrying out medical examination of Provincial Assembly member Amar Bahadur Dangi. “The rural municipality has managed internal resources to appoint doctors and health personnel in the hospital,” said the rural municipality Chair Bhakta Bahadur Oli.

Provincial Assembly member Dangi said the government was working as per the need of the people to ensure advanced health services in the rural parts of the country.

Banglachuli Rural Municipality has become the first local level to bring a 15-bed hospital into operation, as per the federal government’s policy.

Rapti Institute of Health Sciences in Ghorai Sub-metropolitan City and Rapti Zonal Hospital in Tulsipur Sub-metropolitan City are the other big hospitals in the district.
