One dead, 31 injured in Doti bus accident

DHANGADHI: One person died and 31 got injured after a bus they were in caught with an accident in Doti district this morning.

According to the District Police Office, Doti The bus ( NA 7 KHA, 6181) which was travelling to Bajura from Mahendranagar of Kanchanpur district fell off 20 to 25 meters from the road in Gairpani of Shikhar Rural Municipality-1 of the district.

The police informed that among the five who sustained injuries, four of them are in a critical situation.

The injured people have been taken to Sujang and Saileshwor Hospital for the treatment, said Superintendent Dilip Singh Deuba,  Chief of District Police Office, Doti.
