JAJARKOT: One more body of an individual who went missing in the landslide in Barekot Rural Municipality, Jajarkot, was recovered on Sunday.
With this, the landslip death-toll here reached 10.
The deceased has been identified as Kamal Sarki (11), daughter of Kalu Sarki who also died in this incident.
As many as 12 persons had gone missing after the landslides swept away two houses in the neighborhood.

According to District Police Office’s Deputy Superintendent of Police, Kishor Shrestha, four from the same family – Gauri Sarki, 14, Kabita Sarki, 16, Dilli Sarki, 20, and Birendra Sarki, 18, from Chaurataka, Kushe Rural Municipalit-9 — who were visiting their relatives, were also killed in the incident.
Gopal Sarki, 52, and his son Arjun, 11, of Barekot were also among those killed. Gopal Sarki’s wife Pushpa, 50, and their daughter Laxmi, 13, are still missing.
Meanwhile, Dilli Bahadur Chanara of Junichaande-11 who was swept away by the landslide into the Dhuma River, also has been missing.
Likewise, two others – Shanta Bahadur Chalune, 20, and Prachanda Chalaune, 10, are also missing as they were swept away by the mudslip.
