Pioneer Moto Corp is set to launch its Nissan Leaf Electric Vehicle in Nepal by early 2021. The car was first launched in Japan in December 2010. The launch had been postponed due to the government excise duty hike on Electric Vehicles.
The first mass marketed Electric Vehicle, the Nissan Leaf has sold over 250000 units so far. The car charges up to 80 percent in just 40 minutes, and comes with the e-Pedal technology which allows for driving with a single pedal.
