Daraz has broken all previous 11.11 records despite Covid-19 with sales worth Rs20.52 million within the first hour, a 60% increase from last year. There were 520,000 users on the 24-hour shopping event that also saw significantly higher numbers in online pre-payment via wallet and bank card taking up 45% of the total sales. Of the total orders nearly a quarter were from SMEs who went online during the pandemic.
