Nepal’s biggest solar electricity farm is going up in Kohalpur of Banke district. The $181 million 250MW array will supply power to the grid and will also have a 40MW battery storage capacity. An agreement on a detailed project was signed on Tuesday between the Nepal government, Investment Board Nepal, and Risen energy JV of Singapore. The DPR will be ready in a year and installation will begin after that.
