Rallies to mark Prithvi Jayanti

RAJBIRAJ: Different organisations supporting monarchy and Hindu state organised separate programmes on the occasion of the 299th birth anniversary of late king Prithvi Narayan Shah in Rajbiraj, Saptari, on Monday.

Rastriya Prajatantra Party, Saptari, took out a motorcycle rally in Rajbiraj.

Cadres and leaders of the party chanted slogans seeking restoration of monarchy and Hindu state. Similarly, 1991 constitution, our campaign, an organisation, held a mass meeting. Speakers at the meet highlighted late king Shah’s contribution to nation building.

They called for the restoration of monarchy and Hindu state. Kishori Mahato, the campaign’s chair, said restoration of monarchy and Hindu state was key to salvaging the country from the current crisis.
