NIU, partnering with Bosch, announced the launch of its NIU MQi+e-scooter on 5 March.
The MQi+ is an all-electric smart scooter that features one removable 48V31Ah lithium-ion battery and a 1500W electromotor with a maximum speed of 45km per hour and a range of over 60-75 kilometers. Since its launch in 2015, NIU has sold 7million scooters worldwide, adding up to a milage of 7billion kilometres in 40 countries. NIU has been in the Nepali market for about 4 years, with over 800 units zipping across Nepal’s streets.
