Buddha Air has announced it will commence inter-city flights from 1 May, making Pokhara its hub. There will be flights from Pokhara direct to Biratnagar, Simara, and Nepalgunj in addition to existing flights from Pokhara to Bharatpur to Bhairahawa. It will be operated by the airlines’ two Raytheon B1900D aircraft and switch to ATR-72 once traffic volume picks up.
