Kathmandu has partly removed the odd-even rule imposed on public transport with the Omicron-led third wave subsiding in Nepal. Public vehicles, ambulances, fire brigades, hearse vans, and vehicles carrying gas, petroleum, water, agricultural and other products are exempt from following the rule. But the restriction remains in place for private vehicles, two-wheelers and taxis.
