The government has increased the price of petroleum products by Rs5 per litre. At Rs250 per litre, the price of petrol is now at an all time high. A litre of kerosene now costs Rs233. This is a reflection of the international crude oil price reaching $127 per barrel due to the Ukraine crisis.
