BYD has sold technologies like the Blade Battery, DM-I super hybrid technology and 730,093 passenger vehicles in 2021 including 593,745 energy passenger vehicles. The company has extended to over 70 countries and ceased production of internal combustion engine powered cars and shifted to electric battery vehicles.
