Following the halt of Kathmandu-Lukla flights due to congestion at the international airport, Ramechhap’s Manthali airport has taken off operating 11 flights to and from Lukla flights a day. In October this year alone, there were 334 flights from Manthali to Lukla not including cargo. The flight time is also reduced from 30 minutes to 15 in Tara, Summit and Sita Air.
