DHADING: As many as nine persons have been taken ill after consuming jungle honey in Borang village of Ruby Valley Rural Municipality-4, Dhading district, on Sunday.
However, three persons, who were airlifted to Kathmandu, are undergoing treatment at the Blue Cross Hospital. “They were airlifted to Kathmandu in their own expense,” Ward Chief Prashant Tamang said.
The victims showed symptoms of dizziness, diarrhoea, fatigue after tasting wild bee honey harvested by Sukman Tamang from a nearby jungle area in the district, Tamang shared.
Although former Home Minister Buddhi Bahadur Tamang was born in the remote Borang village, the area is yet to get access to road connectivity.
